Hi, I’m Elena. An experienced communications professional known for delivering impactful results across project management, web and digital initiatives, marketing campaigns, event planning, and executive and administrative support.
In 2017, I graduated from the University of California, Davis, with a Bachelor of Arts in Art Studio, where I focused my studies on drawing and video arts. Following graduation, I spent four years working in gallery administration and marketing. I led several successful marketing campaigns, developing and implementing strategies that directly enhanced digital outreach efforts and boosted artwork sales through social media and email marketing. I also managed the daily administration of front-end sales and oversaw sales during large-scale conferences. Additionally, I traveled to work in sales at art fairs, selling books I had designed in collaboration with artists the gallery represented.
In 2022, I embarked on a new chapter of my career at UC Davis' Institute of the Environment, where I supported executive leadership as the Strategic Communications Administrator by organizing academic seminars and workshops, meetings, scholarships, staff programs, and community mural events. I planned and coordinated travel arrangements for artists and academic professionals to facilitate their speaking engagements.
Additionally, I oversaw the strategy and management of the daily internal and external communications for the Institute and the executive staff. Most notably, my efforts amplified the Institute’s online presence through advancements in brand innovation and numerous successful email, website, and social media marketing campaigns.
Throughout my career, I have successfully organized and managed over 100 workshops, conferences, seminars, and events. I also possess extensive experience in hosting Zoom meetings and webinars, accommodating guest counts ranging from 30 to 3,000.
I am passionate about leveraging my skills and experience to drive effective communication and successfully manage projects and events.
